DESCRIPTION:Da Vinci Requiem\n\nKCS opens its 2023-4 season with a feast of
  superb British music. We continue our exploration of the gorgeous works o
 f George Dyson with Hierusalem\; its gentle  lyricism contrasts with the 
 energy of Britten's early Te Deum and Grace Williams' plangent Elegy for 
 Strings. The climax of our  programme is provided by Cecilia McDowall's w
 onderful Da Vinci Requiem\, written in 2019 to mark the quincentenary of t
