SUMMARY:A Purcell Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Our final concert of the season is a celebration of the stunnin
 g music of Henry Purcell. We first perform highlights of his wonderful chu
 rch music\, including perhaps his finest anthem\, My Heart is inditing\, c
 omposed for the coronation of King James II. Then we are joined by superb 
 soloists to revel in his ground-breaking opera Dido and Aeneas\, all accom
 panied by the authentic instruments of The Purcell Orchestra.\n\nOur outst
 anding quartet of soloists are all recent graduates of the prestigious Nat
 ional Opera Studio\, including Felix Gygli\, the winner of the 2023 Kathle
