Handel’s Messiah needs no introduction; it has been a firm favourite ever since its triumphant premiere in 1742. An exciting quartet of young soloists joins KCS and the period instruments of the Purcell Orchestra to perform this wonderful sequence of beautiful arias and memorable choruses, climaxing with the unforgettable ‘Hallelujah Chorus’.
