Kingston Choral Society Open Evening
Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn
Join Kingston Choral Society in an evening of sublime tunes and unparalleled drama featuring Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Composed in 1846 Elijah was an instant success. The Times reviewer wrote “Never was there a more complete triumph”.
Conducted by Gavin Roberts with accompanist David Syrus, the evening offers a great opportunity to sing wonderful music and learn more about this terrific piece.
Tickets are £5 for members, £10 for non-members and £5 for under 18s/full-time students. Scores can be hired for £2. Ticket price includes an interval drink and a portion of cake. Please arrive at 7.15pm. The evening will commence at 7.30pm.
