In an evening of thrilling contrasts, our Easter programme brings together Mass settings by Mozart and Stravinsky. Mozart’s C Minor Mass is one of his greatest and most beloved works, whilst his Exsultate, jubilate will prove a virtuosic showpiece for brilliant young soprano Anna Devin. Separating these works is Stravinsky’s Mass: an austere, craggy, masterpiece for chorus, woodwinds and brass.
