KCS Autumn Concert
KCS celebrates its return to the concert stage with a programme of glorious Classical works. Mozart’s grand ‘Coronation Mass’ is paired with a charming Magnificat by Johann Christian Bach, before Haydn’s mighty ‘Nelson’ Mass provides a fitting climax. Though clouds occasionally gather, as befits a work with the subtitle ‘Mass in troubled times’, Haydn’s irrepressible spirit shines through, carrying all adversity with it.

Covid guidance for our audience members:
We are delighted to be singing again after a long absence, and look forward to welcoming you to our forthcoming concert.
In line with current guidelines and recommended practice, we are taking steps to ensure that our performers and audience members can be confident that they will be joining us within a Covid-secure environment.
Out of consideration for others, we ask that you be willing to demonstrate that you have been double vaccinated, or have a negative PCR or Lateral Flow test result taken no more than 48 hours before the event.
We are requiring our singers and musicians to take a test before the concert to ensure that they too are Covid-free.
As a further safeguard please wear a face covering when arriving, leaving and circulating around the venue, and preferably also during the performance. During the interval we will open the doors to increase ventilation and allow you the opportunity to take your interval break outside.
If, having booked your ticket, you develop Covid symptoms and/ or test positive, please do let us know at info@kingstonchoralsociety.org.uk and refrain from joining the event.
